That's Not My Neighbor is a puzzle game similar to the legendary Papers, Please, in which you take on the role of a building's doorman. The problem is that, for unknown reasons, this world is full of fearsome doppelgangers (creatures that impersonate people to kill them when no one is looking) and it's up to you to make sure that none of them manage to enter the building and unleash chaos.

A fun and crazy idea

That's Not My Neighbor is set in the year 1955, but in an alternate timeline in which doppelgangers have become such a pressing problem that the government has had to create the Department of Doppelganger Detection (D.D.D.). In this context you will start working as a doorman of your building, with the goal of detecting any strange creature that tries to impersonate one of the legitimate residents. The slightest mistake can end in tragedy, so you will have to be attentive to every detail.

Learn to play in five minutes

The way That's Not My Neighbor works is very simple, but if you don't want any monsters to sneak in, you will have to learn how to play correctly. Fortunately, the game has a tutorial that, in less than five minutes, will explain everything you need to know. In short, you will have to check that all the residents have their ID and entry permit, that nothing is forged, and that their appearance corresponds to the picture in their file. If after carrying out all the checks you are sure that it is a regular person, you should open the door. If, on the contrary, a doppelganger is trying to enter the building, you will have to call the D.D.D.
